Now, guys, these can be a nice little way of just replacing your older windshield wiper blades that might not be quite doing the job, leaving streaks, not cleaning up that rain water debris that might be in your way and just going ahead and getting them replaced without having to break the bank to do so. Now I've had a couple of these on my Ford Explorer for awhile and they've done a very good job of holding up. I haven't had too much issue with them and they do do a very good job of staying conformed to that windshield. Now, you can of course find some more premium blades out there but these are definitely going to do the trick. more

ClearPlus Windshield Wiper Blades Installation - 2016 Ford Explorer- Video

In our 2016 Ford Explorer, we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install the ClearPlus Intelli Curve windshield wiper blades. This is what our ClearPlus windshield wiper blades look like when they're installed. These are gonna be all-weather hybrid-style blades that are gonna help keep your windshield clean of rain, snow, and ice, to give you a much safer ride during those conditions. Each wiper blade is gonna have a wraparound rubber coating, or shield, if you will, with a spoiler on it, not only is it gonna cover your metal components inside on the blade, but it's also gonna reduce how much snow and ice builds up. The squeegee, there's gonna be a compression molded rubber with a molybdenum coating that's gonna prevent chatter and skipping. Our flexible outside shell, with our flex points across the center of the blade, is gonna give it some more evenly distributed pressure across the blade, giving us more contact between our blade and our glass. more

What's going to set these apart from other types of windshield wiper blades is, it's actually going to have two blades on it. Each one of the blades are going to be having nano graphite covering them so, that helps the blade run across the windshield smooth, helps resist any skipping or chattering, but not only that, we look at each blade, the edge has little knots on it. Now when we're looking for different wiper blades, we're looking for replacement wiper blades, sometimes we'll go and pick up the cheaper ones, which they work for a little bit, but they tend to skip across the windshield or as soon as the wind hits them, they'll lift up or they flex and then you're getting a streak across the windshield because there's not enough downward pressure. So next time we go and buy a little bit more expensive ones.Well, they work for a little bit longer, but eventually they start acting like the cheaper ones. Well, the Scrubblades have changed the game, because the framing and the suspension mechanism in them is a lot stiffer.
